A beautiful ending to Spring Fling Week. The event that most look forward to at the end of the year. Black Music Feast. This event is put on every year by Haraya which is one of the organizations on campus. This year the headliner performance was from my home town Wale. I never been so proud of DC in my life.

Last Thursday was the Fifth Annual Fashion Show put on by the Fashion Club. It went off with a success. I felt great about it because being that I am a member of the E-Board I was able to help with the success and it felt like an accomplishment for me.

While walking to class. I gained inspiration of the path that I take almost everyday to get to class. The colors of the flowers and the way the steps were designed. It is as if it is leading me to my next journey in life.

While strolling on my way to class looking into the sky wondering what direction my world would take. Should I take the road less travel or follow the direction my peers and family want me to?  Peaking through the cherry blossoms I see the light at the end of the tunnel.
